Joule-Thompson (JT) System
Commonly used with high pressure gas utilizing an expansion valve to create a pressure drop and accompanying temparature drop. The liquids in the chilled gas condense and are removed. Lowest cost system. This system is applicable only under limited specific operating conditions.
